Design and build a user-friendly website in order to provide a custom jewelry service and offer a limited selection of ready-to-ship jewelry pieces.

Purpose and Context: Blingadvisor.com was a personal project. My family had been in the B2B jewelry industry for over 30 years doing work for big name brands. We saw the quality vs markup that many large chain jewelry stores offer and we knew the quality of our work and the price we could offer was something that had already been drawing in a lot of private clients and so we decided to start our first B2C company. I acted as co-founder and product manager on this product and increased revenue by 250% as well as collaborated in increasing our monthly website views from 100 to 1.5 million.

Wireframes

Led the build of a custom jewelry website from scratch in WordPress by providing wireframes to the developer and facilitating Agile team meetings. These are early wireframes and the very first iteration of the website before the website became what it is today.

Stakeholder Alignment

Managed, maintained strong relationships, and aligned three stakeholders (marketing director, SEO, and developer) by facilitating team meetings and through effective communication.

Vetted, hired, and collaborated with SEO by performing keyword research, editing blogs, and suggesting page and blog topics leading to monthly website views growing from 100 monthly views to 1.5 million monthly views. Used Google Analytics and Google Search Console to setup custom metrics and measure success.

Strategy, Customer Feedback Loops, and Website Iteration

Increased annual sales by 250% from 2020-2022 as well as an extremely high customer retention rate through a customer-focused approach, top-notch customer service, optimizing SEO, and leveraging client referrals. Performed research based on customer feedback when frustrations were expressed about the website and implemented validated solutions.
